How we check: our tracker reads the retailer's own listing, records the price and the original price exactly as Amazon published them, and posts the deal without anyone retyping a figure. No discount percentage is shown unless both numbers came off that listing. More on how a deal gets on this page.
What we make of it
The Fjällräven Kanken Backpack is known for its water-resistant and durable design, making it great for students who need a reliable bag for school and outdoor activities. Its spacious main compartment and classic style can accommodate textbooks, a laptop, or gym gear, but be aware that its lack of padded straps might not be comfortable for long commutes. Additionally, while it comes in a variety of colors, some may find the minimalist design too simple for their taste.
Why this is a good deal
It is shallower than the typical School discount
The median discount across the 24 School deals we have live is 61%. This one is 57%.
What you actually keep
$51. A percentage is a ratio and a saving is money — on a cheap item a huge percentage can be worth less than a modest cut on something expensive, so this is the number we would judge it on.
Reasons to think twice
we have only seen this product once, so we cannot tell you whether the original price is a genuine going rate or a list price that nobody pays; the discount is only a saving if you were going to buy the thing anyway.
