What we make of it

This benchtop band saw is a solid choice for hobbyists and small woodworking projects, offering two speeds to accommodate different types of cuts. It’s relatively easy to use and compact enough for smaller spaces, making it suitable for garage or basement workshops. However, it may struggle with thicker hardwoods, and the blade can dull quickly with extensive use, so keep that in mind if you plan to cut dense materials regularly.

Why this is a good deal

It is shallower than the typical Home discount

The median discount across the 187 Home deals we have live is 47%. This one is 27%.

What you actually keep

$60. A percentage is a ratio and a saving is money — on a cheap item a huge percentage can be worth less than a modest cut on something expensive, so this is the number we would judge it on.

Reasons to think twice

we have only seen this product once, so we cannot tell you whether the original price is a genuine going rate or a list price that nobody pays; the discount is only a saving if you were going to buy the thing anyway.
