What we make of it

This robotics kit allows kids to build their own hydraulic boxing robots, providing a fun and educational introduction to engineering and mechanics. Ideal for ages 8 and up, it enhances problem-solving skills and encourages creativity. However, the kit requires a fair amount of assembly and understanding of hydraulics, which might be challenging for younger children or those without adult supervision. Additionally, the robots operate with hydraulic fluid, so it's important to check for potential spills during play.

Why this is a good deal

It is deeper than the typical Toys discount

The median discount across the 283 Toys deals we have live is 46%. This one is 51%.

What you actually keep

$25. A percentage is a ratio and a saving is money — on a cheap item a huge percentage can be worth less than a modest cut on something expensive, so this is the number we would judge it on.

Reasons to think twice

we have only seen this product once, so we cannot tell you whether the original price is a genuine going rate or a list price that nobody pays; the discount is only a saving if you were going to buy the thing anyway.
